TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The Promoter

    The promoter is: Footasylum Ltd of Sandbrook House, Sandbrook Park, Sandbrook Way, Rochdale, OL11 1RY.

  2. The competition

    2.1. The title of the competition is ‘NoTwoWays Big Red Button Activation’.

    2.2. Using their unique code, entrants will have the opportunity to play the Big Red Button Game (‘the Game’), in the stores detailed below. There will be a Big Red Button displaying a timer. Once the entrants start the timer, it will count to 3 seconds before the display disappears. The entrant must stop the timer on exactly 10.000 seconds to win a share of £10,000.

  3. How to enter

    3.1. The competition will run on the following dates:

    Saturday 9th – Sunday 10th November 2024 at Footasylum Oxford Street

    Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th November 2024 at Footasylum Westfield Stratford

    Saturday 23rd – Sunday 24th November 2024 at Footasylum Birmingham Bullring

    (the "Competition Dates").

    3.2. To receive a unique access code, Applicants must:

    1) Visit playbigredbutton.com and leave their email address; and

    2) Opt-in to emails from Footasylum and NoTwoWays.

    3.3. No purchase necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the website.

    3.4. The Promoter will not accept:

    1) responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

    2) proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.

  4. Eligibility

    4.1. The competition is only open to residents in the UK, except:

    1) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

    2) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or

    3) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

    4.2. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

    4.3. The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

    1) automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);

    2) completed by third parties or in bulk;

    3) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;

    4) not originals; or

    5) incomplete.

    4.4. There is a limit of one entry to the competition per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.

    4.5. Entrants are able to play the Game multiple times but are only allowed to take one turn before returning to Game queue.

    4.6. Footasylum (and its employees), can in its sole discretion disqualify any entrant who is believed to be acting in bad faith. This includes but is not limited to manipulating the competition or violating the competition rules. Any such disqualification will be final and binding.

  5. The prize

    5.1. The prize is £10,000 (ten thousand pounds) cash (‘the Prize’).

    5.2. The prize is supplied by Footasylum Ltd, Sandbrook House, Sandbrook Park, Sandbrook Way, Rochdale, OL11 1RY (the "Supplier").

  6. Winners

    6.1. To be eligible to win the Prize, entrants must play the Game at one of the locations listed above. Entrants must stop the timer at exactly 10.000 seconds to qualify as a winner.

    6.2. In the event there are multiple eligible winners, the Prize will be split equally between them.

    6.3. In the event there are no eligible winners, Footasylum can in its sole discretion choose to allocate the Prize to the entrant(s) who stopped the next nearest decimal place. If there are multiple entrants who stopped the timer at the same decimal place away from 10.000 (e.g. 9.999 and 10.001), the Prize will be split equally between them.

    6.4. The Promoter will contact the winner(s) personally as soon as practicable after the Competition closes on 24th November 2024, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.

  7. Claiming the prize

    7.1. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or is not available within 7 days contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the winner(s).

    7.2. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf, unless you are under the age of 18, in which case it can be claimed by a parent or guardian upon proof of identification.

    7.3. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

  8. Limitation of liability

    8.1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  9. Data protection and publicity

    9.1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.footasylum.com/help-hub/#/privacy-policy.

  10. General

    10.1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

    10.2. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

    10.3. These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
